Trista Sutter was the runner-up on the premiere season of the hit ABC reality show, The Bachelor. After having her heart broken on national television, she was chosen to be featured in her search for love on the gender-reversed spin-off, The Bachelorette. She found that love in Ryan Sutter, a firefighter from Vail, Colorado, and the couple were married in December, 2003. Just as the beginnings of their love story had been shared with TV viewers, their wedding was featured in a special on ABC that drew over 26 million viewers, making it one of the most widely-viewed episodes in the history of reality television.
Since 2003, Trista has become the author of Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart, as well as the designer for her Grateful Heart gift collection with GloryHaus.com. She was honored to be a speaker for TedxVail in 2016, and has appeared on the inaugural seasons of Dancing with the Stars and Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars, but her greatest accomplishment to date is that as a mother to her children, Max and Blakesley.

With her experience in the public eye and as a mom, Trista Sutter discusses our value system and how we allow judgment and societal success get in the way of our self-worth.
